Christian Doctrine

Journeying with God is a Christian
learning programme run by the Diocese of
Peterborough Adult Learning and Education.
The aim of the programme is to help build confidence
and understanding of church members.
What does it mean to be a Christian?

Getting Married?
Baptism?

Confirmation?

The hitchhikers' guide to the Christian Doctrine
is one part of this programme aimed at exploring
the central doctrines of Christian Faith
as signposts on our journey. The course will
attempt to tackle such issues as:-

What is God up to?
How we align ourselves with God's ministry and mission in the world today.

Evil and Suffering?
How can we make sense of a God of Love with all the suffering in the world?

What on earth is the Church for?
Understanding some models of the Church to helps us shape it today.
