Life in our Church

Flower Festival

September saw the annual church flower festival and as always the hard work and enthusiasm of those involved shone though to create a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all who visited. Below is just a small selection of the many wonderful exhibits.

Welcome

Maybe you have lived in village for years and never ventured through the door, or maybe you are new to the area and would like to get involved one thing is the same all are warmly welcome.

Geddington Church is far more than a beautiful and historic building to be looked at and admired. It is very much a part of village life and brings people together each week to worship together either at the quiet “eight o’clock service” or the livelier 9:45 service.

Whilst some parishes struggle to survive, Geddington Church has a thriving congregation made up of young and old, with a relaxed atmosphere which is one of acceptance and inclusion.

In addition to our weekly services there are many special events and services throughout the year plus a thriving Mothers Union, an active “Friends of the Church” and a full PCC which reflects both the experience of senior church members and the enthusiasm of younger people moving into the village.

Why not come along and stay for a coffee ?
