Eleanor's tomb not normally open to the public.

1994 saw the 700th anniversary of the building of the cross. GVFB decided to walk the original journey undertaken by King Edward from Lincoln to London passing through all the twelve places that crosses were built. A special service at Westminster Abbey commemorated the conclusion of the event with the fire engine unusually being allowed to park immediately outside the Abbey.
