We welcome messages of all types, whether it’s about the content of the site or you are looking for a long-lost ancestor or just want to get in touch with Geddington again.

Please scroll to the bottom of the messages to see the most recent message posted. It’s a fault of the WORDPRESS format that the latest messages aren’t at the top – sorry, nothing we can do about that!

The website committee,  Tony, Janet & Pam, look forward to hearing from you.

(Some editing may take place, but only if the change is based on space and taste.)

Hello. Is anyone in the village a relative of Eva Patrick year of birth around 1900 or Arthur Patrick born late 1890s? Their father was a Mr W Patrick and they lived on Kettering Road in 1907. If you are able to help, please get in touch.

Hello Pam – Ian Spencer here again!
I’m sorry it’s reported that the churchyard is somewhat unkempt but it’s a bit too far to travel from NW Wales to attend to the grass!
In the meantime, my very best wishes to everyone in the village.
Regards, Ian Spencer (on holiday Isles of Scilly)

Hello Ian, Great to hear from you again. Churchyard certainly could do with some help, however, there is a team of ‘chaps’ that meet every Wednesday to renovate the older gravestones. They’ve done a good job so far, but, so many graves, so few volunteers . . .
Best wishes to you both, Pam

I am doing research into my husbands family. His great uncle was called William Frederick Hobbs 1903 – 1977. He married Elizabeth Denton in Kettering. My research leads me to John M Hobbs and I was wondering if you could pass my details on to the person with this name just in case he is the person I am looking for. Please accept my apologies if he is not the person. Thank you.

Start time is 7pm, finish time is a typo – also depends on how much and how long you want to drink. Pam
