Election Timetable
There are just ten days left until the close of nominations for the parish council elections ( see countdown timer ). Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to Kettering Borough Council (KBC) by 4pm on 9 April 2015.
The timing is going to be absolutely critical this year, particularly because the nomination period coincides with Easter, which means there are just six working days on which nomination papers can be returned:

4pm deadline for nominations

If you, as a candidate are away for some of Easter you need to be very aware of how tight the timetable is at this election. If you are away for the whole of the school Easter holidays you will need to make arrangements for someone else to deliver your nomination papers for you.
Candidates will want to contact the Clerk to the Council to obtain nomination packs and also to get their electoral roll number and the numbers for their proposer and seconder, which are needed for the form. Given the tight deadlines, if you are not going to be available over the nomination period to give out these details you may wish to make alternative arrangements for candidates.
